Prashanth, from Siddipet, Telangana, faced financial hardships that forced him to discontinue his studies and struggle to find a job. A friend suggested enrolling in a short-term course at Khavish. Impressed by the infrastructure, Prasanth joined the Solar PV Installer Suryamitra Course, gaining skills in solar technology, installations, maintenance, computer operations, and English. After completing the course and clearing the certificate assessment, he was hired by Premier Energies as a Diploma Engineer Trainee with an annual package of Rs. 2,13,378/-. Grateful to Khavish.
B Vamshi Kiran, from a poor family background, completed ITI & CITS in Hyderabad and sought a well-qualified job despite financial constraints. Interested in green energy, he learned about free training and placement courses offered by Khavish. He enrolled in the "Solar PV Installer (Suryamitra)" course, passed the eligibility test, and gained extensive knowledge in Solar PV Installation, basic computer skills, and English. After completing the course, Khavish organized interviews, and Kiran secured a job as a Solar Technician at Solar Premier Engineers in Hyderabad, earning Rs. 12,500 per month, fulfilling his dream and supporting his family.
Yash Mukund Sawai, hailing from Yavatmal, Maharashtra, comes from a modest background. His father works in a private company, supporting the family that includes Yash, his younger brother, and their mother. Yash completed his ITI as an electrician and moved to Nagpur to gain more skills by working with his uncle, an electrical contractor. After completing the training, Yash decided to start his own business. He registered his company, Shree Ram Solar Solutions Pvt. Ltd. With the support of his uncle, Yash now plans to undertake solar installation contracts both in Nagpur and Yavatmal. His goal for the fiscal year is to complete at least 100 kW of solar installations.
